Welcome to www.afterdarkblues.com, home of After Dark.
Brought together by a passion for Chicago blues, After Dark combines
the blues of Muddy Waters, the swinging sounds of Louie Jordan, the
music of legendary guitar and harmonica greats Freddy King, Little
Walter, and Paul Butterfield with the music of contemporary players
and other blues masters for a variety of upbeat danceable music.
Throw in a touch of R&B and a growing number of original songs and you
have a musical repertoire of some familiar and some not so familiar
songs that will get you up and dancing or simply soothe your day as you
sit back, relax, and enjoy the music.
After Dark is typically a four-piece combo of drums, harp, bass,
and guitar, sometimes joined by a variety of South Bay guest artists sitting in.
